Would you like to explore the area without using your car? How about taking a ride on the Bws Biosffer during the summer holidays. Running from the 31st of July and throughout August, the special Bws Biosffer will provide a convenient way to travel to key Biosphere attractions every Wednesday and Sunday.
This special bus will take passangers on a route that stops at The Dyfi Osprey Project, RSPB Ynyshir Nature Reserve and Ynyslas Visitor Centre and Sand Dunes, twice a day, meaning that passangers gan hop-on, hop-off the bus at any a number of different locations and explore what the area has to offer.
Bws Biosffer is part of the “Sustainable tourism in the Dyfi Biosphere project, it offers an easy way to visit some of the area’s key attractions without using your car. The bus has a low floor which makes it suitable for wheelchair users as well as parents with buggies.
Your Bws Biosffer driver from Lloyds Coaches will be ready to answer any questions regarding the special area and information will be provided on the Bus. And travellers arriving by train can also take advantage of the service as the timetable has taken train arrivals to Borth and Machynlleth train station into account, taking the stress out of combining bus and train travel!
The bus will run from the 31st of July every Wednesdsay and Sunday until the 28th of August. Tickets must be purchased beforehand – details below. If you’d like to talk to us, we’re on firstname.lastname@example.org or 01654 703 965.
Each key attraction along the route has organised events which are timed to coincide with the bus arrival times and means that there will plenty to see and do during your visit.
On WEDNESDAY, there will be Wet & Wild family activities at RSPB Ynys-hir, Nature Nutters at Ynyslas reserve, and a talk about the Ospreys with the Dyfi Osprey Project wardens. Remember about Machynlleth market too!
On SUNDAY, there will be guided tours of RSPB Ynyshir and Ynyslas, and a talk about the Ospreys with the Dyfi Osprey wardens.
